Je me relevais à peine. C’était le matin je crois, et il faisait beau. Un matin d’aout sur une île. Des larmes à peine sèches et un cerveau encore liquide. Cette conversation inutile qui ne nous mènerait nul part, mais dont j’avais besoin. Il faut se servir de ses échecs pour avancer. Je me souviens de la brise du large, du village torturé, des terrasses en bord de mer. Un paradis amer, à peine effleuré par mes pas. J’ai commandé un café et j’ai bu ses paroles que j’ai trouvées trop justes. Elles n’avais pas du être prononcées pour la première fois. C’est ce que j’ai pensé.
« Tu es trop impatient, tu veux tout, tout de suite.
_ Oui, je veux tout. Je veux boire, fumer, baiser, voler, aimer. Je veux vivre. »
Qui a raison, celui qui veut vivre tout de suite, ou celui qui croit qu’il a la vie devant lui ?
Un jour tout s’écroule, un jour on perd tout, le sol se dérobe, tout s’effondre autour de soi. Et ce jour là, il ne reste que les regrets. Je vis ma deuxième vie, ma seconde chance de vivre, ma vie de rescapé du bord de la route. Et j’ai décidé d’être heureux. De ne pas me contenter des miettes de vie qu’on me lance.
Je ne vis pas pour attendre la prochaine fin.
Eternel hiatus entre vouloir tout tout de suite, et se protéger un minimum, faire attention … Faut assumer, dans les deux cas.
Mais j’adore ta dernière phrase. Elle est pleine d’espoir.

Vivre c’est profiter des moments présents car on ne sait pas de quoi est fait le lendemain… Espérer et rêver c’est beau mais il ne faut pas oublier de passer à l’acte pour ainsi exister.
